Summing up the sentiment of many, Clinton Brown said last week that his son and Rihanna should have never got back together.
“I personally really didn’t want him and Rihanna back together,” Clinton said when he sat down for an exclusive interview with the Daily News.
And he revealed he worries the roller-coaster romance could fly off the rails and end in tragedy.
“I hate to use examples, but Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse — I mean I could go on and on!”
But maybe he shouldn’t worry too much — it seems Brown and Rihanna’s relationship may have already come to a screeching halt.
In the latest developments between the troubled pair, Rihanna has been pictured getting flirty with a handsome fan and Brown has unfollowed the singer on Twitter.

Rihanna was pictured with Justin Laboy on Sunday in a series of Twitter images with the pair affectionately pecking each other on the cheek.
“Me and my wife @Rihanna out here tonight,” Laboy wrote in one of the captions accompanying the photos.
Brown then took to Twitter Monday and appeared to be in a really bad mood.
“S**t is overrated now a days,” he said in a tweet late in the early hours of Monday.
“Just remember to keep ya muthaf****n head up,” he added,
He has also since unfollowed Rihanna on Twitter, and is now re-following his other ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.
Chris Brown is loathed, as too is love rat Jesse James. Matt Lauer is as popular as the tax man and Justin Bieber is an annoying brat.
BUT, none of the these stars has the honor of being name the most hated star in Hollywood.
That accolade goes to Gwyneth Paltrow, who topped the list in Star magazine’s annual poll of the 20 most irritating personalities in film, music and television.
Hell, she even beat out Kim Kardashian and her momager Kris Jenner.
It seems the public doesn’t relate to the 40-year-old’s health-conscious (read:boring) lifestyle and goop mutterings.

Rihanna may have forgiven him, but it doesn’t seem the public is as eager to forget Chris Brown’s vicious 2009 assault on the singer.
So much so, the R&B star was subjected to the loud sounds of booing when he took in a Knicks game at Madison Square Garden Sunday night.
According to the New York Daily News, Brown was sitting courtside with Spike Lee as the Knicks took on the Boston Celtics and he was jeered when his and the movie-maker’s faces appeared on the Jumbotron.

Is it a case that Good Girl Gone Bad, Rihanna may have to return to being good again?
According to a new report coming out of the UK, the singer has been told in no uncertain terms that she must stop partying if she wants to fulfil her touring commitments.
The UK’s The Sun newspaper reports that there are fears for her wellbeing after she fell ill with laryngitis and was forced to axe two dates on her Diamonds World Tour and that the 25-year-old won’t be able to sustain her current level if she continues to party.
“Rihanna’s illness was so severe that doctors warned it could take months for her to fully recover – there were worries that she’d have to cancel her entire tour, ” a source tells the newspaper.
“She was forced to cancel two of her Diamonds dates in Baltimore and Boston after coming down with laryngitis.
“She has since resumed the tour and promised to reschedule the cancelled shows.
“They’ve told her that she needs to make some serious lifestyle changes, or risk this happening again.
“This has given her a scare. But Rihanna knows it’s partly self-inflicted.
“She loves to smoke, drink and stay up late. Her body was bound to need a break at some point.
“She’s now on a mission to start looking after herself.”
And in one of the most shocking nuggets of the day, insiders also fear that Chris Brown is not a good influence on her.
