These stunning photos show a desperate mother of ten-day-old puppies racing back and forth from a blazing home in Santa Rosa de Temuco, Chile trying to get her babies to safety.
After a car bomb went off on Thursday, the mother dog – a German Shepherd mix called Amanda – was captured running between the house and a fire truck over and over again with the puppies in her mouth.
She did not stop until all of the pooches were safely out of the home.
Once all the dogs were safe, the mom sat down next to them, protecting them with her body as the firefighters fought the blaze.
All of the puppies, except one called Amparo, survived. Amparo suffered severe burns.
The four remaining are said to be doing well.
