Talia Joy Castellano is most possibly the most inspiring CoverGirl ever!
The 13-year-old has become a YouTube star thanks to her inspired make-up video tutorials and her video blog has attracted over 14 million viewers.
This past summer, Talia found out that she is suffering from “neuroblastoma and leukemia at the same time”.
Despite not knowing what the future holds, saying that the “chances of surviving are fewer than surviving,” she will continue her videos “for as long ” as she can.
And now she has a new gig– that of being an honorary face of CoverGirl.
She found out about her new role last month during an interview with Ellen Degeneres, but the cosmetic giant has just released the campaign-style images.
And it is her fighting spirit that continues to win her legions of fans.
When Degeneres asked her how she remained so upbeat and positive, Talia quoted a line from what Degeneres said in her role as Dory in Finding Nemo.
“When people ask me that, what do you want me to do, be depressed?” she said.”I mean a little fishy told me, ‘Just keep swimming, just keep swimming!’”
Of her videos, she says: ”I adore, I love makeup, using it as my wig… it’s amazing… the journey of having cancer was amazing. But every journey has an end.”
