All an act? James Holmes bizarre courtroom appearance called into action - Was he just faking it as part of a ploy to claim insanity?

Yesterday, James Holmes took his place in the spotlight, sitting before a judge after the slaying of 12 innocent people in Colorado last week.

And the 24-year-old acted dazed, confused and began nodding off on occasion.

We asked, based on his court appearance, could it be a master ploy by the flame-haired killer to claim insanity.

Now, the NY Daily News reports that the Colorado mass murder’s behavior was NOT the result of prescription medication.

“We don’t just hand out meds,” the Arapahoe County Detention Center worker told the Daily News. “It just doesn’t work like that.

“If he was acting sleepy, he was faking it,” the source added.

If you watch the clip again, it becomes more evident that paper’s source could be absolutely accurate on this matter.
