Koala’s are one Australia’s cutest creatures. Despite being called “koala bears”, they are actually marsupials and the males are known to defend their territory. And with those sharp claws, they can sometimes be dangerous– or at the least, their nails negate their cute and cuddly appearance.

Posting under the name of “Melabois”, this female shared her rare experience, when during a hike at the Great Ocean Walk, Victoria, Australia, the koala climbed her leg to give her a cuddle… but while it may have been a unique moment, it was also a painful one….
