Two years ago, Lisa Ling suffered a devastating blow– she miscarried.
Following on from that heartbreak 2010, she said that she her husband, Paul Song, would not give up on their baby dream.
“We are going to try,” she insisted. “We both have so many great experiences we would love to share with either a biological or an adopted child.”
And it was the former, not the later, which turned out to come to fruition.
Appearing on Wednesday’s “Anderson Live” with her former Channel One co-anchor Anderson Cooper, Ling revealed that she was pregnant with her first child.
The 39-year-old shared an early sonogram of her baby-to-be, which she revealed is a girl.
Ling admitted after her miscarriage that is was “scary” to think about trying to get pregnant again.
“It is definitely scary. Especially when you aren’t successful, it is difficult to try again,” she told More, explaining that she and Song were both open
Ling married Song, a physician and biotech firm president, in 2007.
Such wonderful news for the couple….
