This past Saturday Chef Wolfgang Puck hosted an intimate surprise birthday dinner for wife Gelila Puck at their re-designed restaurant Spago Beverly Hills.

Over ninety guests including Quincy Jones, actresses Devon Aoki, Nora Zehetner, Shiva Rose, designers Monique Lhuillier (with Tom Bugbee) and Kendall Conrad, Motown record label founder, Berry Gordy and Eskedar Gobeze, filmmaker Liz Goldwyn, photographer Greg Gorman, jewelry designers Loree Rodkin and Martin Katz, Kelly Katz, personality Julie Brown, author Sandra Hill, Brooke and Blake Davenport, Tatiana and Serge Sorokko, Julia Sorkin and more joined on the Spago patio and private dining room to celebrate Gelila Puck.

Mrs. Puck looked ravishing in a James Galanos couture dress and spent the evening joined by Chef Puck mingling and entertaining their guests. The evening’s dinner was capped off by a surprise performance by pop group The BQ Girls (including Wendy Fitzwilliam, Miss Universe 1998, and Chelsea Cooley, Miss USA 2005.) followed by the presentation of the birthday cake, a white delicacy topped off with white roses. DJ Bobby Nourmand kept the guests entertained with lively beats and dancing into the late night hours. Chef Puck and Gelila Puck were amongst the last to leave the dance floor, seen giving goodbyes to the last of their departing guests.
