On Thursday, September 27th, Barry’s Bootcamp opened its doors to their highly anticipated Tribeca studio in New York City with a red carpet Hollywood themed opening party that only “The Best Workout in the World” could pull off. With a line out the door and music blaring onto the city streets, guests received an exclusive first look at the largest Barry’s Bootcamp studio in the country, along with complimentary cocktails, and passed hors d’oeuvres. But the fun didn’t stop there! A photo booth, filled with bedazzled weights and workout gear, allowed party goers to directly share their “Hollywood” Bootcamp experience through social media, and print out copies as a keepsake of the evening.
Hosted by Barry’s Bootcamp, notable attendees included Amanda Seyfried, Kelly Bensimon, Ryan Serhant, Jonathan Knight and Rachel Heller to name a few. Barry’s Bootcamp owners John Mumford, Rachel Mumford, Barry Jay, and COO Joey Gonzalez, along with studio managers and trainers from throughout the country, welcomed clients, friends and neighborhood locals to celebrate the opening of their eighth studio in the United States.
The two-floor power house, designed by architects Lloyd DesBrisay and Chad Smith consists of 2,400sq feet on ground level and devotes 1,000+sq feet to high-tech locker facilities and fuel bars on the lower level.
Each Barry’s Bootcamp class includes 25 to 30 minutes of interval cardiovascular routines on treadmills and 25-30 minutes of strength training using free weights, bands and bars. The endless variety of exercises and instructor styles insures that no two classes are the same, and that every class feels new and exciting.
Barry’s Bootcamp NYC in Tribeca is located at One York Street on Avenue of the Americas just South of Canal. For more information please visit their website.
