Daniel Craig may not have been shaken and stirred as the host of “Saturday Night Live”, but politics proved to be hilarious fodder for the show.

During the ”Weekend Update” with Seth Meyers, Big Bird made an appearance and said he found out about his newfound popularity after getting a million tweets.

Despite being thrown into the political arena, Big Bird reveals he ”didn’t want to ruffle any feathers”. (Watch the hilarious clip below)

Meanwhile, Jay Pharoah playing Obama, offered an explanation for his dismal performance during the first presidential debate on Wednesday saying he forgot to buy Michelle an anniversary present.
