Their little bundle of joy has been present in their lives for almost three weeks now, and judging by these photos, everything looks picture perfect for Bill and Giuliana Rancic and their new son, Edward Duke.
The couple posed up for these exclusive photos for Life & Style magazine, where Edward Duke is dressed in football footie pajamas.
“I had always heard that when you have a baby it completes your life —and it’s true,” Giuliana tells Life & Style. “I love my baby, and I love my new role.”
The path to parenthood wasn’t an easy one for Giuliana and Bill. The couple had to overcome struggles with infertility and in vitro fertilization injections as well as Giuliana’s breast cancer diagnosis and double mastectomy last December. But on Aug. 29, little Duke arrived via a gestational carrier, giving the new parents the ultimate gift.
“I couldn’t believe that all those years of struggling and the tears actually paid off,” Giuliana admits. “Every shot, every doctor’s visit — in the end, when you’re holding your baby in your arms, you forget it all, and it’s worth it.”
