She may have not been my his side as he promoted his new film  in Cannes earlier today, but Brad Pitt couldn’t help but talk about his engagement to Angelina Jolie.
Speaking of the long-awaited engagement that was seven years in the making, he said that it was “something that made sense” for the pair to do.
However, for those who have breathlessly predicted the couple will wed this August, Pitt dismissed those claims, saying: ”We have no date at all right now – there is no date.”
And he added: “We’re still hoping for marriage equality in the States before we [get married.].”
