Cameron Diaz embraces age: ‘I feel better at 40 than I did at 25’ - The gorgeous actress also reveals that she is "living in this moment" and has never been so "content" in life

Some women dread reaching the age of 40– not Cameron Diaz, who is embracing the milestone with gusto.

“I have gratitude,” she says in an interview with Esquire magazine, which hits shelves on Thursday.  ”I know myself better. I  feel more capable than ever. And as far as the physicality of it, I  feel better  at 40 than I did at 25.”

The actress, who turned 40 in August, looks stunning in the accompanying photos, which were shot by Terry Richardson.

She goes on to add: “For the first time in my life I’m content. ‘I’m so excited. Getting older is the best  part of life. Like, I know more than I’ve ever known.”

Though she is currently single, Diaz hasn’t ruled out the possibility of having children of her own one day.

“There’s still a possibility of that, I ain’t  that old,” she says. “Believe it or not, I’m feeling very…  capable.”

Despite reports and recent pictures which suggest otherwise, Diaz has denied that uses Botox.

“There’s no such thing as  anti-ageing, ” she insists. ”You can’t go back in time. So for me, it’s about living in this moment,  the best that I can.”
