Celebs Tweet to make Sandy Hook Promise

To mark the one month anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy, a group of community members along with the support of 11 families of victims announced the launch of Sandy Hook Promise. The group urges supporters to make the promise at sandyhookpromise.org to turn this tragedy into a transformation. JOIN US in making the promise to honor the 26 lives lost at Sandy Hook Elementary School and to do everything you can to encourage and support common sense solutions that make your community and our country safer from similar acts of violence.

Community members, supporters across the country, media and celebrities took to social media to pledge their support of Sandy Hook Promise. Among the celebrity supporters, Ellen DeGeneres, Kim Kardashian, Maria Shriver, Lauren Conrad, Tamera Mowery, Bella Thorne, Tori Spelling and Elizabeth Banks tweeted their support of the organization, made the promise and urged their followers to do the same.
