They first became a source of international fascination when they appeared on the cover of Life magazine in 1996 when they were just 6 years old.
The cover then led cojoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel to appear on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” twice that year.
Now the girls, who share a body but have two heads, are all grown up and at 22, they are sharing their remarkable and unusual adventure on a new reality show on TLC.
The show titled “Abby and Brittany” follows the sisters as they graduate from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minn. and embark on the job hunt and deal with the problems of young love.
“Everywhere they go, they get the stares,” says a friend of the twins. “I don’t know how they do that every day.”
Here is a promo of their show, which is set to air on Aug. 28 on TLC.
