Nick Lachey is just weeks away from being a dad for the first time– and he can’t wait for the moment he meets his bundle of joy!
Sleepless nights, dirty diapers….none of this bothers the hunky TV host, who is expecting his first child with wife Vanessa.
“I’ve wanted to be a dad for a long, long time,” Nick tells In Touch magazine, on newsstands now in an exclusive interview. “I’m not scared of any of it. Everyone says I’m not going to get any sleep, but I’ve slept enough! I’m ready to take it all on.”
And so is Vanessa! “She’s been a trooper,” Nick says of his pregnant wife. “Of course, I’ve been giving her a lot of foot rubs and back massages. Pretty much anything I can do to make her comfortable.”
Adds Nick: “It’s going to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so I just want to relish every piece of it. Even diapers.”
The couple is expecting a baby boy.
