Much of greater New York is still without power, but thanks to the commendable efforts of The Duracell Rapid Responder Truck, families are getting a chance to reconnect with the outside world following Hurricane Sandy.
The Duracell Rapid Responder Trucks have been moving throughout the New York/Tri-State area to provide power relief in the areas of greatest need, making multiple stops everyday to help first responders and families recharge and reconnect with loved ones.
At each truck stop, people will have access to charging lockers for mobile devices, computers, WiFi and a battery distribution center to help them stay powered up when they need it most.
“Duracell works collaboratively with our retail partners for storm preparation efforts,” Win Sakdinan, Associate Director, Duracell Global Communications tells us. ”This includes advance preparation to ensure stores are well stocked during peak times throughout the year. We also have a Duracell Command Center which is a multi-functional team of logistic and supply managers to respond as quickly as possible to urgent needs when stores run out of product.”
Below are the details of where the Duracell Rapid Responder Trucks will be located Thursday, so that you can power forward during this difficult time.
