Move over Russell Brand, Katy Perry has not only moved on, but she’s traded up!
We can exclusively confirm that she is dating Baptiste Giabiconi, the highest-paid male model in the world.
Our sources tell us that the pair met earlier this week at the Chanel runway show in Paris, and have since not left each other’s side.
“He was sitting next to her at the show,” a source reveals. “Then we all had dinner the other night, they were holding hands and looking cozy, and now they are inseparable.”
In fact, the male über model and Katy were supposed to have a romantic dinner date tonight in Paris, but there was a fire near where her hotel is located.
“Baptiste ordered her the biggest bouquet of flowers and they could not deliver them, the florist (most exclusive in Paris) Lachaume is also near the fires,” the source continues. “He’s crushed.”
Our favorite fashionista, Princess Kasia Al-Thani, a close friend of Baptiste, confirmed the couple’s new romance to us, saying that the 22-year-old hunk is already “smitten” with the singer.
“Baptiste is an incredible model, musician, and humanitarian,” she tells us. “He is a great guy and he’s totally smitten, and Katy is the perfect girl for him.”
Baptiste’s manager currently has no comment at this time regarding his clients personal relationship with the star.
And, lastly, for the record, Baptiste is sometimes referred to as Karl Lagerfeld’s boy toy…This is absolutely not correct. Karl thinks of him as a son. End of story.
