We caught up with the foundation’s Anthony V. DeFeo Executive Director at Barber’s Blueprint in Mulberry Street New York.

And here’s a message from Jude Law…
Much of the attention after Hurricane Katrina has focused on repairing the physical damage still visible to this day in New Orleans. Yet, we must not forget the devastation left on the city’s creative institutions which have always been the soul and spirit of the people and at the heart of the region’s economic security. Arts and culture are fundamental to New Orleans and should be part of the long-term plan to bring the city back to prominence.

The heartbeat of New Orleans is its culture and its music, and it gave that music to the world. Music for Tomorrow is about a foundation for these things that make New Orleans unique. By helping New Orleans musicians, those who are in the city and those who want to return…Music for Tomorrow is helping keep Jazz in New Orleans, where it was born and where it belongs.”
