We’ve heard of some outrageous ways to raise money for charity but design your own skeleton? That’s what skin care company Kiehl’s is doing, choosing 13 creative stars to build their own “Mr.Bones” (or “MS. Bones”, for that matter.)
By way of explanation, Mr. Bones, is the Kiehl’s image who appears on all their packaging. The original Mr. Bones skeleton is the actual human skeleton used by founding family member, Aaron Morse during consultations and harkens back to their pharmacy heritage.
Stars such as Zach Galifianakis and Alicia Keys put their spin on the skeleton but our personal favorite is Tats Cru’s creation.
To get in on the fun, you can personalize and style your very own Mr. Bones on the Kiehls FB page, Save it to the Kiehl’s gallery, and enter to win prizes including a $1,000 Kiehl’s gift card, or share on your Facebook page.
For each artists’ skeleton, $200,000 will be donated to organizations supporting Children, the Environment, and HIV/AIDS causes worldwide. Fancy having one in your home? A the end of 2012, each of these Mr. Bones will be auctioned off to further benefit each charity.
Call us fraidy cats, but we’d rather not have a skelton hanging around our house!
