Regardless of your political inclination, you can’t help but acknowledged that Bo, the President’s pooch, is sitting pretty in the White House.

In these newly-released images, Bo meets the Burmese Opposition Leader Aung San Suu Kyi on September 19, as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton watches on with a huge grin.

And in another snap, the shaggy male Portuguese Water Dog takes a moment to bask in the sunshine in the gardens of The White House.

Bo became part of the Obama household after he promised his daughters, Malia and Sasha, they could get a dog after the 2008 presidential race.
