She has admitted that shedding the pounds following giving birth has been challenging.
The 32-year-old singer, who welcomed daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson on May 1, told USA Today that her body is not bouncing back like a supermodel.
“I’m just your everyday woman who is trying to feel good and be healthy for her daughter, her fiancé and herself,” she said.
And, now, Jessica Simpson is set to reveal her post-baby body on Katie, Katie Couric’s new talk show, on Sept. 10.
While she may not be picture perfect just yet (her goal weight is 130 pounds), Jessica has shed 40 pounds in four months according to Life & Style magazine.

“Jess has been doing a lot of work on herself,” an insider tells Life & Style. “And she’ll gradually be showing her weight loss through Weight Watchers commercials over the next few months.”
