Joan Rivers has long been known for speaking her mind and has never been one to shy away from telling people what she really thinks.
So, her actions yesterday certainly don’t come as too much of a surprise…. but a tad extreme? Certainly.
According to ABC news, Rivers showed up At Cosco on Tuesday in Burbank, Calif., with handcuffs, a megaphone and copies of her New York Times bestseller, “I Hate Everyone … Starting with Me”.
They report that she carried a megaphone and even handcuffed herself to someone’s shopping cart in what was said to be a protest of Costco’s decision to ban her book
She claims the ban came about because of two inappropriate parody quotes on the book from Marie Antoinette and Wilt Chamberlain..
“This is very frightening and it is truly about the First Amendment,” she said.“This is America and I don’t want to see censorship.”
