Actor Johnny Lewis, who once dated pop star Katy Perry in 2006, was found dead in a driveway at a home in Los Feliz, Calif., Wednesday, in a bizarre real-life crime drama.
The body of the 28-year-old, who appeared in the series “Sons of Anarchy”, was found outside the home that housed a murdered elderly woman.
Police were called to the scene after calls were made to 911 of a woman screaming. It is believed that Lewis fell or jumped to his death from the roof or balcony.
Upon arriving at the home, police discovered the body of an 81-year-old Katherine Chabot Davis, who appears to have been killed by blunt force trauma to the head, Los Angeles’ KTLA 5 News reported.
Lewis was considered a suspect in the woman’s murder.
“The best we’re piecing together now is that it appears that some type of altercation occurred inside of the house resulting in the death of the woman,” LAPD Commander Andrew Smith told KABC TV.
“Then this individual ran outside, had an altercation with a couple of neighbors, ran back into the house and by the time we got here, he had fallen or had somehow died on the driveway.”
