Their union was regarded as one of the strongest in Hollywood and a benchmark, of sorts, for how to make a relationship work in the public eye.

But then in January, seemingly out of the blue, Heidi Klum and husband Seal announced they were separating after seven years of marriage.

A somewhat amicable split, many were perplexed into where things went wrong for this couple who sweetly renewed their vows every year.

But this week, the reason behind the dissolution of their seven-year marriage has become somewhat more evident, with Klum caught in a series of sexy snaps with her tall, brooding bodyguard, who has been identified as Martin Kirsten.

The photos prompted Seal to last night claim that Klum was “fornicating with the help”.

“I would have thought Heidi would have showed a little more class and at least waited until we separated first before deciding to fornicate with the help,” Seal told TMZ.

And most tellingly, he added: ”I guess you all now have the answer you have been looking for the last seven months.”

In Touch magazine claims that Klum has been dating her 39-year-old bodyguard for three months.

“They’ve been seeing each other,” a source close to Martin tells In Touch. “They were recently spotted together on vacation in Sardinia, Italy.” Another source confirms to In Touch, “She’s so happy and feels so safe around him.”

But given that Seal and Klum separated in January and filed for divorce in April, when the supermodel and Kirsten’s professional relationship flourished into something more personal, is still yet to be surmised.

When the announcement of their split was made, reports suggested that there had been trouble between the married couple since August, when they took a holiday with their three children, and Heidi’s daughter from a previous relationship, in Ibiza.

The vacation apparently turned sour as the “Kiss from a Rose” singer was said to be partying ”hard”, hitting the clubs and leaving his wife behind.

Then he headed to the UK for promotional work for his next album, but by the time he returned to L.A, not even a family holiday to Aspen, Colorado on December 27 could mend the cracks in their relationship.
