Labor Day Celebrations: Get Your Drink On!

It may be Labor Day Weekend, but don’t sweat the drinks. Here are two of our favorite (and easy!) cocktails to help you celebrate the holiday in style.

Monumental Margarita: For those looking for a monumental weekend.

• 1.5 oz.Blanco Tequila
• 1 oz. Cointreau
• .5 oz. Lemon Juice
• .5 oz. Lime Juice
• 3 Basil leaves

Directions: Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass and add ice. Shake and strain over ice .

South Side: This is the speciality of The Maidstone in East Hampton, but you can just pretend you are party-ing with the 1% with this recipe.

• 1.5 oz. Purity Vodka

• 2 oz. Fresh lime juice

• .5 oz. Simple syrup

• Fresh mint sprigs

Directions: Shake vigorously in a mixing glass; strain. Add additional sprig for garnish.
