But behind Jon Bon Jovi’s seemingly perfect family life, all is not what it seems after it emerged that his daughter, Stephanie Rose Bongiovi, was arrested after a heroin overdose at upstate New York college.
Campus police at Hamilton College responded to reports that the rocker’s only daughter was unresponsive. She was taken to the hospital and charged with drug possession.
Town of Kirkland Police responded to a 911 call early Wednesday at a doom room at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y., where Stephanie Rose Bongiovi attends school.
“She was unresponsive when we arrived,” Investigator Peter Cania told the Daily News.
The 19-year-old was rushed to hospital and police found heroin and more evidence of drug use in the dorm after obtaining a search warrant, he said.
Bongiovi is the oldest of the rocker’s four children.
A spokesperson for Bon Jovi refused to comment.
