Lindsay Lohan has said her father, Michael, is “dead to her” after he sold a recording off her spat with mother, Dina.
Now, her siblings are chiming in, saying they have had enough of their father’s behavior.
Following on from an incident on Friday afternoon which saw Michael turn up to Lindsay’s Beverly Hills house in hopes of staging an emergency intervention to get his daughter to go to rehab, the three younger children of the Lohan clan are speaking out.
“Take this as your other daughter ‘s plea to an absent father. I have always tried to stay out of the press because it hurts me to see how you malign my mother. But in this instance, I am breaking my silence. Please stop waging your own personal war against my family. We don’t need you to intervene because we can take care of ourselves without you, as we have been all these years.” - Ali LohanDespite Michael’s claims that Lindsay needs help, the family insist what she really needs is to not be bombarded by her father and his desire to garner media attention.
This is a sentiment even her current beau, Josh Chunn, backed up.
Speaking to the New York Daily News he revealed that Lindsay is “cleaning up”, but she has too many things going on around her at present that it would have anyone in a spin.
“I’ve been trying to get Lindsay to focus. But how do you get her to focus with all the stuff going on around her? I can barely focus,” Chunn told the Daily News on Saturday.
Chunn, 25, denied Michael Lohan’s claims that he supported the intervention. He said he was the one who had to turn Michael Lohan away when he showed up at LiLo’s door with two friends, including one who identified himself as a cop.
