Max Page, the pint-sized actor who portrayed Darth Vader in the popular Volkswagen commercial that debuted during the 2011 Super Bowl, is now resting at her home following his successful open heart surgery.
The 7-year-old was released on Monday from a Los Angeles hospital, where he had his pulmonary valve replaced.
Page, who was born with a congenital heart defect, says he’s looking forward to just the simple things in life now he’s been released.
“Well, I’m excited about a lot of things — especially having a milkshake,” he said.
The valve used is expected to last about 15 years before it will need to be replaced with noninvasive surgery, according to the hospital.
Page faces six to eight weeks of recovery, The Associated Press reported.
