Melissa Dilan-Hernandez was arrested on Tuesday accused with having sex with a 16-year-old boy. She is 30 and already has three children– and now she is pregnant with her young lover’s child, the Tampa Bay Times reports
Police say that Dilan-Hernandez was having sex with the boy as early as September 2011, when he would have been 16. The boy told police that Dilan-Hernandez is now pregnant. Tests confirmed the baby is his, according to the New Port Richey Police Department report.
After she was arrested, Dilan-Hernandez told police she and the 17-year-old live together as boyfriend and girlfriend and plan on getting married.
Dilan-Hernandez, of New Port Richey, was arrested on a charge of unlawful sexual activity with a minor. She was released from Land O’Lakes jail after posting $10,000 bail.
Speaking of horrific parental figures, a Virginia woman has been arrested with child neglect, possession of heroin, and driving under the influence after a police officer found her slumped over in her car outside a courthouse.
Billie Jolene Warburton, 30, was found passed out over the steering wheel of her car at the Mills E. Godwin, Jr. Courts Building on Monday morning. Her 23-month-old son was found crying in the back seat since he had not been fed since the prior evening.
Suffolk County spokeswoman Diana Klink said that the officer had spotted the woman earlier in another area of the parking lot, where she appeared to be sleeping.
“An officer leaving Court noticed her slumped over the steering wheel of her vehicle with the window open, motor running, and a young child in a car seat in the back seat,’ Mrs Klink said.
“Blood was seen on the center console and fresh injection marks were visible on Ms. Warburton’s arms.”
The officer said Warburton spoke in “slurred speech.”
