Seal would like to make on thing clear– Heidi Klum did not cheat on him during their marriage.
Following on from his remarks on Friday night that seemed to insinuate Klum’s growing closeness to her bodyguard, Martin Kirsten, was partly responsible for the demise of their marriage, he is now attempting to put his comments in context.
“Seal would like to clarify that he was not implying his wife was cheating on him while they were together,” the singer’s rep said in a statement to PEOPLE. “But rather he was pointing out that they are separated and the divorce is not final so they are legally still married.”
Photos of Klum and Kirsten looking intimate while on vacation with her children made waves last week and prompted Seal to claim that the supermodel was “fornicating with the help”.
“I would have thought Heidi would have showed a little more class and at least waited until we separated first before deciding to fornicate with the help,” Seal told TMZ.
He added: “I guess you all now have the answer you have been looking for the last seven months.”
