It was the bombshell that was touted as possibly changing the election. But Donald Trump’s big announcement on Wednesday at noon certainly didn’t go off with a bang, more so a whimper.
And last night President Obama addressed his rivalry with the media mogul, after Trump offered up a $5 million challenge to release his college records and passport application.
When Jay Leno asked Obama on “The Tonight Show” about Trump, the President quipped that the strained relationship dates back to childhood.
“‘This all dates back to when we were growing up in Kenya,” he joked. “We had constant run-ins on the soccer field, he wasn’t very good.”
He didn’t acknowledge, however, if he would bow to Trump’s challenge, which has been met with much derision on the internet with many mocking the businessman.

And here is Trump’s announcement again, which he insisted wasn’t a publicity stunt, but instead was “about the United States of America.”
