President Obama cut short a campaign rally today to address the early morning shooting massacre at a Colorado movie theater that left 14 people dead and 50 wounded.

Obama said of the shootings that have rocked the nation:”Such violence, such evil is senseless.  It’s beyond reason.”

And he highlight the preciousness of life, saying, “And if there’s anything to take away from this tragedy it’s the reminder that life is very fragile. Our time here is limited and it is precious. And what matters at the end of the day is not the small things.”
