He comes across as earnest, adorable and refreshingly honest.
But is Jef Holms TV persona on “The Bachelorette” just one carefully planned charade?
If these exclusive photos, published in this week’s Life & Style magazine, Jef appears to still be acting very much like a bachelor, and if the mag’s latest report is anything to go by, not only has Emily been fooled, so have the show’s fans.
Life & Style reports that Jef has been spotted flirting with a bevy of women — including two females outside a 7-Eleven parking lot in his hometown of Provo, Utah, while celebrating the Fourth of July.
“He’s a player,” a friend of Jef’s tells Life & Style. “If Emily has chosen him, she isn’t going to be happy.”
And that’s not all. A former Bachelor contestant reveals to Life & Style that Jef is a good friend of Emily’s ex Doug Cartwright, and he got tips on how to win Emily’s heart from Doug’s sister (and Emily’s Bachelor co-star for the second Brad Womack season) Michelle Money!
“Michelle coached Jef not only on how to get on The Bachelorette but also how to impress Emily and land that final rose,” says the contestant. “From watching the show, it looks like he’s some squeaky-clean Mormon who just wants to find true love, but he’s actually quite savvy about fame.”
On the July 22 finale, Emily happily and tearfully says “yes” to her chosen one and according to an insider close to her, it wasn’t an easy decision. “Emily was so careful about trusting her instincts and her heart,” says a show insider. “If this weren’t to work out, she’d be devastated. She even said at the start of the season that she couldn’t go through any more heartbreak.”
