Outrage, the co-creator of Two and a Half Men’s says: “Enough, ladies, I get it. You have periods.” - Lee Aronsohn, the co-creator of the CBS comedy Two and a Half Men is in hot water for saying female-oriented comedies have reached the point of saturation

The co-creator of ”Two and a Half Men”, Lee Aronsohn is heading for world-class douchebag status with his latest comments.

Speaking with the Hollywood Reporter at the Toronto Screenwriting Conference, he said: “Enough, ladies, I get it. You have periods.”

He whined that there are too many comedy shows targeted towards women, including  ”2 Broke Girls” and “Whitney”.

Adding more fuel to the fire, he went on to add: “But we’re approaching peak vagina on television, the point of labia saturation.”

The married dad-of-three, is quite happy with his show making jokes at the expense of women and showing them in an unflattering light.

But he explains this by pushing the blame on women…is there a recurrent theme going on here?

He said that “Two and a Half Men” focuses on “damaged” men, adding that a man is damaged by a woman.

“Sorry, it’s women,” he said. “I never got my heart broken by a man.”

Kudos to the The Daily Show co-creator Lizz Winstead, who said: “You realise that if we are at Peak vagina, the prices at the pump are gonna skyrocket.”

Whilst former New Yorker television critic Nancy Franklin encouraged other Twitter users to Aronsohn’s page, writing: “Lee Aronsohn’s twitter handle is @bennyace if your overexposed lady parts want to send him a message.”
