Talk about making a dramatic U-turn!
After being caught on tape declaring that gay men “are the horniest people in the world” and “most of them probably have AIDS”, Paris Hilton is singing a decidedly different tune.
The airhead has released an apology to GLAAD, where she insists “gay people are the strongest and most inspiring people” she knows.
“I am so sorry and so upset that I caused pain to my gay friends, fans and their families with the comments heard this morning,” she said.
The 31-year-old explained she was having a “private conversation” with a gay friend, and understands that straight people can get also get HIV and AIDS.
“It is so wrong when people bully down others for being gay. No one should have to go through that. Again, I am so sorry from the bottom of my heart and I feel absolutely horrible.”
