Generally, people hit up bars to either celebrate, catch up with friends, or drown their sorrows.

And drinking tends to be number one on the agenda.

So as what was going through Robert Pattinson’s mind on Monday night in New York, is anyone’s guess.

The 26-year was captured drilling a hole into a table and it is not known why he had the power tool in his hand in the first place.

This picture has surfaced on Twitter, with the caption: “Memories from last night: #RobertPattinson using #powertools NY never ceases to #surprise @ Wooster St.”

We’re not so sure that it is NYC that is surprising…..
