Reports: Gerard Butler leaving pictured carrying what appears to prescription pills as he leaves a free clinic in LA

Earlier this week, we consulted Richard Taite, President and CEO of Cliffside Malibu, about whether Gerard Butler was putting his sobriety in danger by attending the three-day music festival Coachella.

The answer, was apparently not, as long as Gerard was going regularly to therapy and addressing his issues.

Now, this new picture has emerged on the website formchaos.com, which is being touted as a exclusive snap (above) of a pale and drawn looking Gerard leaving a free medical clinic in Los Angeles.

They write….

“He was seen yesterday walking into the clinic, and walking out with a hefty amount of prescriptions.”

Gerard, if you remember sought treatment for substance abuse and reliance on prescription pills at the Betty Ford Center in California earlier this year and was released two days before the Oscars, in which he turned up to the Vanity Fair party

These pics of him are when he was arriving at the medical centre, not leaving! And I certainly DON’T see any pills! There are videos all over the place of the Paps following him from this point up to the Centre’s back door! Heaven forbid the man was getting a physical in readiness for his next movie…..he does have a real job you know!

Melissa, you say you provide “smart content for smart women.” I beg to differ. Any idjit can have a blog, which you have proven by quoting yet another hack’s slanderous comment. Any decent journalist would do some research, such as actually looking at the photo “evidence” before printing something so glaringly false. I’d be ashamed to say how I make a living if I were you. By the way, simple proofreading would have been helpful before even printing the title. But that would take minimal effort — something you obviously aren’t willing to spare. An apology and retraction are in order, but I doubt you could manage that.

  @ lolB and @everyone else on this thread….we didn’t claim he was, we were pointing the finger at the site that was saying this. if you look back, with an expert opinion we asked if Gerard should be going to events like Coachella, and the expert said it wasn’t harmful. and if you look at our posts, which are original, then there is a lot of care and research in them. we never claimed he was picking up prescription pills and if you read the post, you will see that.

  @dianne…actually, that is not the case at all. Gerard doesn’t give me hits and as i just said, it wasn’t us claiming this.

You should just take this “article” down because all you’ve manage to do is hurt your own credibility. Your “article” from the “expert” was stupid to begin with. My guess is that he probably rejected you and now you’re bitter and have a grudge. Sad. Truth is, Gerry is to be admired for his courage.

  @A True fan….as i said, we didn’t claim he was. the article with the expert isn’t stupid, it’s asking a logical question. If you read through cuts, there are far worst things written about him during the Coachella weekend. And speaking of stupid, the comment you wrote about him rejecting me is utterly ridiculous…i have never met him!

Yes one of the biggest stars in the world needs to go to a free clinic and have sex in a porta potty! This ”reporting” and the rest of the trash that has been put out in the last few weeks about Mr Butler proves that you and the rest of your kind will do anything to sell your crap! He’s holding a cell phone and hat or maybe its a pound of cocain that hes cooked and molded to look like a baseball cap and he’s looking for a porta potty to do a couple of lines seeing thats where he likes to spend his time when he’s not on mega row at the Lakers game that is.
