It’s his birthday (he turned 28 on Friday), and it’s our party, and, well, any excuse to post an array of hot pictures of Ryan Lochte is fine by us.
Yes, Michael Phelps did reign supreme in the pool, but Lochte didn’t do too bad either. In fact, he collected 5 medals to take with him on his way back home to the US of A.
As he said on Twitter, “Had some ups and downs this Olympics but bringing 5 Olympic medals back to #USA now time to cheer for #USA #Jeah“
And, while he did admit rather grossly to using the pool as a restroom (The 11-time Olympic medalist told “Access Hollywood” that he went No. 1 in the pool in which he was later crowned No. 1 in the 400 IM), there’s no doubting that he is America’s next male swimming superstar with Phelps hanging up his goggles and speedos.
He says he is eyeing up the next Olympics, due to be held in Brazil.
“By all means, I’m going another four years,’’ Lochte said about his future Olympic plans. “There’s no question about it, I’m going another four.’’
He went on to tell US Weekly: “When I’m in a relationship, I want to give that person my entire heart and I wasn’t able to ever do that because of swimming. I’m always on the go. So what she meant is that I do go out on dates, but it’s not that thing that everyone is talking about, because that’s not me.”
And then to reaffirm his belief and hopes that a happily ever after awaits him beyond the sport, he tweeted about his ideal woman, saying, “She has got to make me happy and trust. Of course I wanna get married and have kids.”
After winning two gold, two silver and one bronze at the London Olympics, Lochte says he’s “relieved” that his starring role in the Olympics has come to an end… we’re sure in more ways than one.
