Life & Style magazine are reporting that ABC’s The Bachelor’s Ben Flajnik does propose, but the “relationship” is already kaput.

They write…

It’s down to just four contestants for The Bachelor’s Ben Flajnik –  Lindzi Cox, Kacie Boguskie, Nicki Sterling and Courtney Robertson.  But only one of those women gets the ring!  Life & Style can reveal exclusively that Ben does propose during the season finale — but it’s already heartbreak for the couple.

The new issue of Life & Style, on newsstands now, shares all the details inside the magical moment.

Ben stood on a mountaintop in Switzerland as the final contestant was dropped off by helicopter and made her way up a path (in a scene that was filmed on Nov 16 but will air in March). With the snowcapped Matterhorn providing a stunning backdrop, Ben got down on one knee, pulled out a gorgeous Neil Lane diamond engagement ring and asked “Will you marry me?” The winner’s face lit up as she put her arms around Ben and whispered, “Yes!”

But multiple sources confirm to Life & Style that now, just three months after slipping the ring on her finger, the relationship between Ben and his fiancée has fizzled.

“They have totally cooled off,” a source close to the winning woman tells Life & Style. “They often go five to six days without talking. He doesn’t call her, he doesn’t text. She keeps saying, ‘What kind of a fiancé is this?’ In her mind, he’s pretty much dumped her.”

An insider says Ben was sincere when he got engaged, but as he’s watched the contestants bicker week after week on TV, he’s realized the women aren’t who they seemed. “Ben started to feel like he got played,” an insider says, and wants to move on.  He’s even talked about getting a place with his pals in NYC, according to another source.

“[The winner] thinks Ben’s cheating on her,” a source close to the winning woman confides. “She knows he’s been running around New York with other girls and not calling her. She thinks he’s a coward. She just wishes he’d end it already — otherwise maybe she’ll do it herself.”
