The Bachelorette’s Emily Maynard is finally getting her fairy-tale ending! Life & Style can exclusively reveal that Emily got engaged to her winning man!
In the new issue, on newsstands now, Life & Style discloses that on May 11, just after midnight, the man who stole Emily’s heart got down on one knee and proposed with a 4-carat Neil Lane diamond ring, worth roughly $90,000. “It was truly a one-of-a-kind fairy-tale experience for her,” an insider shares.
The proposal, filmed for the final episode, which airs on July 16, took place in the cobblestone courtyard of the Kura Hulanda resort on the Caribbean island of Curaçao.
“The final bachelor was led through a grand sky-blue gate to where Emily stood,” reveals the insider. “The proposal took place in the middle of the night, which gave it a more intimate feel.”
And now, more than a month later, a friend confirms, “Emily is still happy and engaged. She is ecstatic. She’s over the moon and loves her ring.” Emily’s daughter shares her mom’s joy, the pal asserts: “Ricki is really happy, too.”
