It’s the moment that have longed for: An occasion to celebrate their impending bundle of joy. And, for Bill and Giuliana Rancic, their baby shower on Father’s Day was one of the momentous events of their lives.

Life & Style magazine had exclusive access to this joyous event.

It was a double celebration!

After kicking off the fabulous festivities at their coed baby shower in Beverly Hills on June 17, Bill and Giuliana Rancic announced to 100 of their closest family and friends that they’re having a boy — and now Life & Styleexclusively takes you inside one of the happiest days of their lives.

“It was great to finally share it with everyone,” an emotional Giuliana, 36, shared with Life & Style. “I’ve always wanted a little Bill — my husband is the most gorgeous guy in the world, and I want our baby to look exactly like him!”

“Her brains, my athleticism,” Bill, 41, adds.

The reality couple — who were joined by guests including Melissa Rivers and Lisa Ling — opened a giant box to release dozens of blue balloons after the big reveal.

“We are thrilled beyond belief,” Giuliana adds. “It’s so funny, because since I was a kid I’ve always wanted a boy. But we would not have cared either way.”

Of course, emotions (as well as the Nicolas Feuillatte champagne and OneHope wine) were overflowing as everyone reflected on Giuliana’s struggle with infertility and her recent battle with breast cancer.

“Now that the medical stuff is done, we can focus on the baby,” she said. “Even though I’m not pregnant, I’ve been dreaming about the baby. I had heard that I’d feel a connection, but I didn’t really believe it! I dream of the baby in a blue blanket, and it’s the cutest little boy!”

“Mindy Weiss and my two best friends planned it,” Giuliana says about the party, which even featured a cake (by Cupcakes Couture, of Manhattan Beach, Calif.) that paid tribute to the little boy on the way — it was blue ombré inside! “The shower was exactly what I envisioned. I love anything with a white tent and white sofas, where people can just hang and chill out. Mindy did that. She made the vision come to life.”

It’s a boy! Giuliana Ranic reveals she the sex of her first child

Giuliana and Bill Ranic celebrated the upcoming birth of their “miracle baby”, on most fittingly, Father’ Day.

And the E! News host dropped a bombshell at the baby shower, revealing the sex of their impending bundle of joy.

On Sunday, Bill and Giuliana Rancic held a coed baby shower for the arrival of their baby boy. After the big announcement of the baby’s gender, Giuliana spoke with Life & Style.

“We’re so excited to meet our little boy, and this was the perfect beginning to his arrival,” Giuliana told Life & Styleat the shower.

Life & Style has all the exclusive details of what went on at the luxe affair. “Mindy Weiss planned the entire thing,” a guest tells Life & Style exclusively. “Marks Gardens took care of the beautiful floral arrangements, and Paleta Catering made an amazing barbecue buffet. For dessert, everyone enjoyed cupcakes from Cupcake Couture and Sweet Lucie’s ice cream and cake.

The couple celebrated with 100 of their closest friends and family at the LA home of a friend. “Kids were invited, too,” the guest shares.

The pair announced on April 23 that they are expecting their first biological child in late summer via a gestational surrogate. And it certainly wasn’t easy for them to keep mum on the baby’s sex.

“They kept it a secret from everyone until today; it was difficult,” an insider reveals to Life & Style. “Especially for Bill, who has made a few slips!”

The insider also reveals that the duo still have no clue what they’re going to name the baby: “They’re still thinking about it.”

It wasn’t easy for Bill, 41, and Giuliana, 37, to conceive a child. In October, the E! News host was diagnosed with an early stage of breast cancer and underwent surgery that month. In December, she decided to undergo a double mastectomy.

“It’s been very emotional for us,” Giuliana told Life & Style in May. “People have been on this journey [with us], and it’s nice to be able to celebrate [now that] there’s a happy ending.”

Inside Kristin Cavallari’s baby shower: Who showed up and who didn’t! Plus, see the invite here

Imagine the scene: Heidi Montag, Stephanie Pratt and Kristin Cavallari reunite. But this time it’s not in a club where the claws are out for a catastrophe catfight for the cameras, but instead, a more serene setting, that of soon-to-be-mom Kristin Cavallari’s baby shower.

Life & Style magazine have the exclusive scoop on what went down this past Saturday.

They report….

Soon-to-be-mom Kristin Cavallari paid close attention to detail when it came to planning her baby bash, starting with the adorable invitations that Life & Style can exclusively reveal.

And though she is expecting a boy, Kristin, 25, stuck to more neutral colors when it came to the decorations and the invites.

“Everything was green, blue and yellow,” an eyewitness at the May 19 party tells Life & Style.  “Even the invitations were adorned in the color scheme.”

The colorful theme didn’t stop there! From towering vases of sweets to couture cakes, it was clear the six-months pregnant starlet had eye-popping desserts on the brain.

“They were just everywhere,” an insider says about the overwhelming number of treats. “It was delightful.” And Kristin sure wasn’t afraid of indulging her cravings, either. “I’m definitely enjoying guilt-free eating,” she tells Life & Style.

But while Kristin stuck mostly to fulfilling her sugar hankerings, her 50-some guests snacked on sliders, quesadillas and mini potpies while sipping Bartenura blue wine.

And the mom-to-be didn’t stop at delicious food to indulge her and her guests! “We got massages and eyebrow waxing,” party guest and Kristin’s former Hills cast member Stephanie Pratt tells Life & Style. “It was so nice!”

Stephanie wasn’t the only former star of The Hills to celebrate with Kristin; Heidi Montag flew in from Colorado to congratulate the star, who is expecting a boy with her fiancé, Jay Cutler, this summer. Another Hills pal, Audrina Patridge, couldn’t attend, but she “sent a huge gift basket!” an insider tells Life & Style.

Large gift baskets were plentiful at the party! Having registered for close to 100 baby items, Kristin walked away with a ton of baby loot. “She could barely fit all the presents in her Range Rover,” says the insider. But the generous hostess wasn’t the only one to receive presents — each guest left with a goody bag filled with Le Bébé Coo products, Pascal Mouawad jewelry and Chinese Laundry shoes.

Inside Kourtney Kardashian’s extravagant baby shower: Scott Disick spends his time drinking beer at the bar

She’s due to give birth to her second child in July. And on April 29, Kourtney Kardashian celebrated her upcoming birth with a baby shower on the East Coast.

Life & Style magazine have the exclusive details of what occurred at the Stonewalls Restaurant at The Woods at Cherry Creek in Riverhead, N.Y.,

Two interesting things that emerged from their report, is the absence of her sister Kim, who pulled out at the last minute after she received an invite to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, and also, the fact, that Scott Disick hurriedly dropped Kourtney off and headed straight to the bar.

Kourtney Kardashian may be a West Coast girl, but the soon-to-be mother of two gladly came to the East Coast for the extravagant baby shower the family of her beau, Scott Disick, threw her—and Life & Style has all the details!

The pregnant reality star, who Life & Style can reveal is due to give birth around July 1, was showered with gifts at the Stonewalls Restaurant at The Woods at Cherry Creek in Riverhead, N.Y., on April 29.

“About 60 women attended Kourtney’s shower,” a source tells Life & Style. “The Disicks live in Riverhead, and they’re next-door neighbors with the owners. They’ve been going there for years. The shower was held in the private dining room, and guests left presents for Kourtney on a large table at the back of the room.”

As is customary, Scott dropped off Kourtney at the shower and made sure to stop in and say hello to everyone as quickly as possible. He then spent the remainder of the time drinking beer at the bar with his entourage.

“He sat at the bar with his friends — about five guys — and drank beer until he left,” the source tells Life & Style. “He also took a few photos with people at the shower.”

And though Kourtney was happy to have the party, she was missing her family. Sister Kim was all set to attend, but she canceled last-minute.

“Everyone was under the impression that Kim would be there, but as soon as she was invited to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, she pulled out,” the source tells Life & Style.

And Kim missed quite the feast. “They went with the plated option, which is much nicer than doing a buffet,” a second source tells Life & Style.

The appetizer options were a mesclun salad with shallots vinaigrette or a seasonal soup, and for the entrée, the guests had their choice of vegetarian pasta, fish, or breast of chicken with white wine, tomato and basil. To finish off the festivities, the in-house pastry chef prepared a special-occasion cake for dessert.

“The women basically just ate,” the first source says. “There were no party games played, and Kourtney went against the custom and didn’t open her gifts at the restaurant. Instead, she hauled her loot home with the gifts still wrapped.”

But we won’t be seeing this grand affair on the small screen any time soon.

“They wanted to keep it totally private,” the second source tells Life & Style. “There were no cameras rolling, not even for their show.”

 

 

 

As Life & Style first reported, Kourtney and Scott are expecting a girl. The couple already have one child, their 2-year-old son, Mason.
