Update: It has finally happened!!!!!
Jessica Simpson has given birth. She and fiance Eric Johnson welcomed a baby girl this morning.
The singer announced the arrival of Maxwell Drew Johnson on her website, saying the baby weighed in at 9 lbs. 13 ounces.
“We are so grateful for all the love, support and prayers we have received,” she said in a statement. “This has been the greatest experience of our lives!!”
Could today finally, finally be the day that Jessica Simpson gives birth after what appears to be the longest pregnancy in living celebrity history?
It could well be…. and we can just feel the excitement building, in what may be a truly historic moment.
TMZ is reporting that Jessica Simpson and several members of her family arrived to an L.A. hospital this morning.
They write that Jessica, her mother Tina and her sister Ashlee just arrived to the hospital … along with Eric Johnson’s parents.
