Meet Katy Perry’s new man: Florence + The Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd

Katy Perry is embracing life post-Russell Brand with gusto. First, she had a whirlwind romance with the world’s biggest male model, Baptiste Giabiconi, which we exclusively revealed.

Now, Life & Style magazine is reporting that she has moved on with Florence + The Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd, and is calling him her “boyfriend”.

They write….

Love is in the air AGAIN for Katy Perry!

Life & Style can exclusively reveal that the pop songstress is dating Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd.

“Backstage at the Artist Lounge at Coachella last weekend, Katy kept saying her boyfriend was the guitar player for Florence + the Machine,” a source tells Life & Style. “She and a bunch of friends were supposed to go see Dr. Dre together, but Katy said she was waiting to watch her boyfriend perform!”

And it seemed that they couldn’t get enough of each other at the music festival — the two were spotted holding hands while they watched Katy’s BFF, Rihanna, perform during Calvin Harris’ set on April 15. Days later, Robert even started following Katy on Twitter.

He also referred to her by her initials in a Tweet on April 17, writing: “Best Coachella ever. Scratch that, best weekend ever. Dre, Snoop, Pac, Nate, Fiddy & KP.”

This relationship comes nearly four months after a judge granted a divorce to Katy and Russell Brand. It becomes final in July after the six-month waiting period required by California law.

Exclusive: Katy’s headed for heartbreak, as Baptiste Giabiconi reveals he “doesn’t have time for a girlfriend”

It seemed to be a picture-perfect relationship that was moving at whirlwind speed.

But it appears Katy Perry and Baptiste Giabiconi’s romance has hit the rocks due to “conflicting schedules”.

Baptiste tells celebzter.com exclusively: “I don’t have time for a girlfriend….My number one priority right now is to concentrate on my music career, to finish my album and sign with a major record label.”

But the “One Night in Paradise” singer still thinks of Katy in the highest regard, and hasn’t given up on the possibility that they may reunite in the future.

“I adore and respect Katy and I think she is an incredible woman,” he tells us.

The pair became close after meeting at the Chanel runway show in Paris last month.

Russell is “amazing, funny, and beautiful!”… apparently

While Russell Brand is not on our Top 5 list, it does appear that he has a way with the ladies.

Instead of sitting around and moping over his failed marriage to pop superstar Katy Perry, the British-born comedian has moved on with stunning model Nikolett Barabas.

Life & Style magazine caught up with her in Los Angeles, and she couldn’t stop gushing about her romance with Russell.

They report…

Russell Brand is definitely not wasting time crying over his failed marriage to Katy Perry.

During Russell’s stand-up show at Largo in LA on March 22, Life & Style caught up with the comedian’s new model girlfriend, Nikolett Barabas, and she had nothing but the sweetest of words to say about her guy.

“He’s amazing, so funny; he’s beautiful,” Nikolett said to Life & Style. “I like being with him; he’s amazing, so amazing. He’s a good person.”

In recent weeks, the pair have been spotted together nonstop, even taking a romantic bike ride in New Orleans. And although the 36-year-old funnyman was spotted flirting with a bevy of pretty brunette women after his show, Nikolett, 32, didn’t seem to mind.

“He was really flirty, but even in the sea of women, Nikolett just hung back and let him do his thing,” an eyewitness who was at the show tells Life & Style. “He even kissed one pretty brunette quickly on the lips and told her she was gorgeous!”

Following the show, Nikolett left first and Russell followed in a different car later on.

The Hungarian model is signed to Wilhelmina Models in NYC and has made appearances in the films Magic Boys and Contagion. She has also starred in advertisements for Motorola.

“I haven’t always treated women well — more than one relationship has collapsed because of my infidelity — but to this day I feel a fierce warmth for women who have the same disregard for the social conventions of sexual protocol as I do,” Russell has said about past relationships.

After filing for divorce from Katy, 27, on Dec. 30, Russell was soon linked to artist Oriela Medellin before beginning a relationship with Nikolett.

Exclusive: Baptiste is set to move to LA to be with Katy

Our friends at Celebuzz today shared some intimate snaps of Katy Perry and her new man, musician and model Baptiste Giabiconi, and now we have more details on their romance…and tomorrow we’ll show a different side to the hot young thing.

But for now, here’s our exclusive…

Their relationship has moved at lightening speed and after only dating for a mere few weeks, Katy Perry and Baptiste are looking to set up house together in LA.

“Katy and Baptiste are head over heels in love,” reveals a source close to the pair. “When Katy falls in love, she falls in love quickly, and she is smitten with Baptiste.They get along so well and he is so different from Russell. They have talked about him moving to LA and he decided in the past few days of being with her that he will leave Paris and move to LA to be with her. They are going to live together.”

After flying to London to meet her earlier this week, Baptiste and Katy boarded the Eurostar to Paris at 5pm Monday, and these exclusive photos were capture in an intimate moment during their travels from London to Paris.

Earlier in the week, Baptiste was  spotted by the paparazzi entering the Dorchester hotel that Katy Perry was staying at in London. A source close to both singers confirmed that Baptiste took time out from his current promotional tour for his new single “One Night in Paradise” of his upcoming album Oxygen and flew in from Marseilles, France to be in London with Katy.

Katy who was also in London to promote her new single. Afterwards she went to see Baptiste rehearse at the Matrix Studio Complex for his upcoming European Tour and she was quite amazed how talented her new boyfriend is.

A rep for Baptiste said that he was very touched and extremely grateful that Katy came to watch him at rehearsal, as he really respects her and her opinion.

When Karl Lagerfeld was asked how he felt about the relationship between the new “It Couple” he simply replied “if Baptiste is happy than I am happy”. There have been many malicious rumours about the kind of relationship that Karl has with Baptiste, for those who personally know Karl, he considers Baptiste to be like a son.

Katy & Baptiste: C’est l’amour!

Things are heating up between Katy Perry and Baptiste Giabiconi. We exclusively broke the news that the pair were dating after meeting at the Channel show earlier this month.

Now, the couple are kriss crossing countries to be with each other.

We can exclusively reveal that earlier this week, Baptiste flew to London to spend time with his lady-love.

“Katy asked if he could come and see her,” our source reveals. “And he did- he flew from London to spend time with her. She came to see him rehearse his music in the studio in London . He is thrilled to be with her again.”

But their travels didn’t stop there. Yesterday they boarded the Eurostar at 5pm and headed to Paris.

And our source reveals that the pair weren’t afraid to share to show their affection for one another, and are “adorable together”.

“They are both such nice, sweet people and are perfect for one another,” the source adds.

Exclusive: Katy is headed back into the arms of her hunky supermodel beau

If there was any more evidence needed that Russell Brand was the wrong man for her, then his little phone-throwing fit this week, was just what the doctor ordered.

According to sources close to the pop superstar, Katy is planning to reunite with her new love Baptiste Giabiconi in coming days.

“Katy  is back in Europe and very eager to see Baptiste Giabiconi, ” a source close to the couple tells Celebzter exclusively.

The source reveals that the pair have been texting up a storm since they first met and hooked up.

“They have been non stop in communication and Baptiste is looking forward to welcoming Katy to his country of France where is a big superstar and impressing Katy with the most romantic city in the world – Paris.

“With busy schedules the two find it hard to be together but somehow manage to make time,” adds the source. “The feelings between the them are so strong. “

The source adds that Katy feels like the male model and singer is like a breath of fresh air as opposed to her former husband.

“Katy is very drawn to BG because he is the complete opposite of Russell, ” the source says.

After Russell’s actions this week, we think making sweet music with a hot male model may just be the recipe for happiness Katy needs.

Exclusive: Karl gives his seal of approval to Katy & Baptiste’s romance…plus more details on their relationship

Yesterday, we exclusively broke the news about Katy Perry’s new romance with supermodel Baptiste Giabiconi.

Today, we not only bring you more insight into how the relationship blossomed, but also how Baptiste’s mentor, Karl Lagerfeld feels about this pairing. Plus, we have five facts about the über model  and singer that you need to know….

Karl Lagerfeld tells Celebzter exclusively that he certainly approves of their relationship.

“I’m happy when Baptiste is happy,” Karl says in an exclusive comment to us.

When we asked about why Baptiste has shot to supermodel status, Karl explained that it was not only his good looks, but also his personality that made him shine amongst a sea of beautiful faces.

“It’s not only for his looks Baptiste is a star…. he has something so special that most don’t because he is so real,” he tells us.

So, how did his and Katy’s  budding romance start,? Well, according to sources, the world’s highest paid male model told friends it was “an instant attraction”.

“The first thing that attracted BG to KP was her tattoo of Jesus,” one source reveals. “And because he is a strong believer in god, it was an instant attraction. It was not only who she was but her beliefs that made him so drawn to her.”

Exclusive: Oh là là! Katy’s romancing the world’s biggest male model

Move over Russell Brand, Katy Perry has not only moved on, but she’s traded up!

We can exclusively confirm that she is dating Baptiste Giabiconi, the highest-paid male model in the world.

Our sources tell us that the pair met earlier this week at the Chanel runway show in Paris, and have since not left each other’s side.

“He was sitting next to her at the show,” a source reveals. “Then we all had dinner the other night, they were holding hands and looking cozy, and now they are inseparable.”

In fact, the male über model and Katy were supposed to have a romantic dinner date tonight in Paris, but  there was a fire near where her hotel is located.

“Baptiste ordered her the biggest bouquet of flowers and they could not deliver them, the florist (most exclusive in Paris) Lachaume is also near the fires,” the source continues. “He’s crushed.”

Our favorite fashionista, Princess Kasia Al-Thani, a close friend of Baptiste, confirmed the couple’s new romance to us, saying that the 22-year-old hunk is already “smitten” with the singer.

“Baptiste is an incredible model, musician, and humanitarian,” she tells us. “He is a great guy and he’s totally smitten, and Katy is the perfect girl for him.”

Baptiste’s manager currently has no comment at this time regarding his clients personal relationship with the star.

And, lastly, for the record, Baptiste is sometimes referred to as Karl Lagerfeld’s boy toy…This is absolutely not correct. Karl thinks of him as a son. End of story.
