I was first introduced to Burke Williams spa 12 years ago, when I first came to LA, and have been a very loyal customer over the years since then. Basically, you can’t mess with perfection, and as far as I am concerned there is nothing better than treating yourself to a relaxing afternoon at a Burke Williams Spa.
You can imagine how excited I was to be invited to a special evening they were hosting with Angeleno magazine, and, as it was my Birthday the following day it was the perfect way to start celebrating.
Guest were treated to complimentary massage or facials, eye lash extensions, paraffin hand massages and specialist skin consultations with H2V skin products, as well as cocktails with Little Black Dress Vodka and then to undo all the calorie counting, the most delicious assortment of cookies and mini red velvet cakes on sticks by Cookielicious. This serious melt in the mouth experience had me testing all the cakes and cookies several times over, just to make sure they were really good!
My skin specialist for H2V, Shannon, recommended a potent serum moisture enhance, which absorbs up to one thousand times its weight in water, making it the perfect booster for de hydrated skin. Just what I need for long flights across the Atlantic!
I opted for a massage and was treated to an amazing deep tissue massage by the wonderful La Drena, who worked out all my shoulder stress from horse riding. I felt thoroughly pummeled and although a little sore, the next day I felt like I had a new back!
