After 5 years, the Gossip Girl cast say goodbye with these candid snaps

And that’s a wrap!

After five years of documenting the lives of privileged New York teens, “Gossip Girl” has come to an end.

And two of the shows stars, Blake Lively and Chace Crawford, shared these intimate snaps of their last goodbye.

In its sixth season and final season, Lively’s character Blair and her on-screen love interest Dan Humphrey,  played by Penn Badgley, appear to tie the knot as do Blair and Chuck Bass, played by Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick.

However, for Blair and Chuck a happily ever after may not lay ahead and they may have a love child 9?)

The finale airs Dec. 10 on CW network.

Ed Westwick weighs in on Pippa Middleton and Chace Crawford: “They’d make a good couple”

It is good to be Pippa Middleton. From taking in the US Open as a guest of Roger Federer  to hanging in the Hampton’s Andre Balazs and Sean Avery.

Life is good for Kate’s younger sister.

And, it certainly doesn’t hurt to have a Gossip Girl hunk after her.

Life & Style magazine reports the following…

Ed Westwick wants to see his pal and Gossip Girl co-star Chace Crawford get serious with Pippa Middleton!

“Oh, yeah [they’d make a good couple]. It would be amazing, wouldn’t it?” he told Life & Style at the 9th Annual Style Awards in NYC. “I think she’s a fine young woman.”

After arriving in the Big Apple, Kate Middleton’s little sister was spotted hanging out with Chace at the Electric Room inside the Dream Downtown on Sept. 3.

So is the brunette beauty Chace’s type?

“It’s the way they carry themselves, that confidence,” Chace, 27, has said about what he looks for in a woman. “I’m open to whatever. I love a girl who’s really spontaneous, someone who’s up for going on a camping trip, or to a concert, or to a sporting event.”

We think Pippa certainly fits the bill…and with today being her 29th birthday, we wonder whether Chace will show her a night out on the town — again!

Inside the 17th Annual GenArt Film Festival

By Evan Hosie

The thriller “The Silent Thief” was a hit at 17th Annual GenArt Film Festival as celebrities stopped by and showed their support for the film, and it’s breakout star, Toby Hemingway. Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford made an appearance to support his good friend Toby, posing with him on the carpet.

Co-Star Josh Pence also showed up, looking dapper in a suit. At the Q&A after the screening, it was clear that Josh and Toby are great friends. Toby joked around about FINALLY being able to rope Josh into a shower scene- and revealed that it was him that actually suggested Josh for the role.

Sponsored by Bancott Estate Wines (and Thompson Hotels, Jet Blue, Observer Media Group, and Uber) a Festive-al time was had by all!
