He is used to helping contestants in their search for love, but this time around, Chris Harrison may have met a potential girlfriend in this season’s AshLee Frazier.
AshLee has revealed that she harbours hopes of dating the host of ABC’s “The Bachelor”, who split from his wife of 18 years, Gwen in 2012.
In Touch is reporting that at the “After the Final Rose” taping on March 11, sparks flew between AshLee, 32, and Chris, 41. “Chris was flirting with her,” an eyewitness tells the new issue of In Touch, on stands now.
And AshLee didn’t seem to mind — she even told In Touch she’d be open to dating Chris if he asked her out. “He’s a good-looking guy,” she says, “and super nice!”
Of their potential spark, AshLee feels maybe their closeness in age has them on the same page. “I think he [Chris] just gets it and part of that is because I’m older. You’re in a different place in your life.”
Over the course of the past few years, “Reality Steve” has been the to go-to source for Bachelor spoilers, correctly predicting many an outcome of the ABC hit show.
We spoke to him about the best and worst moments on the TV franchise over the years; his view on who current Bachelorette Emily Maynard should pick; and his thoughts on Roberto Martinez being cast as the next Bachelor.
But before we get to the interview, first things first…. let’s address the report today that claimed that Emily Maynard and the show’s host Chris Harrison are madly in love.
According to sources quoted in the report, Maynard and Harrison have long held a torch for one another, with former contestant  Vienna Girardi  even chiming in, saying she believes that they will end up together.
“From the beginning, I always said there was no way Emily was really going to end up with one of the guys because she really wanted to be with Chris, and it was obvious he wanted to be with her too,” past winner Girardi exclusively told Star.
We posed the question of a possible romance between Maynard and Harrison to “Reality Steve”, and his response was forthright: “Emily is not with Chris Harrison,” he said matter-of-factly. “I have no idea why Vienna is implying that.”
With that settled, here is our interview with Bachelor spoiler extraordinaire Steve “Reality Steve” Carbone
Celebzter: Firstly, for those readers who don’t know you, can you tell us a little about you
Reality Steve: I’m just a guy who started a blog 9 years ago giving my snarky, sarcastic comments towards reality dating shows, and for whatever reason, the Bachelor franchise stuck. Since then, I’ve written an episode recap for every episode of “Bachelor,” “Bachelorette,” and “Bachelor Pad” except for the first two seasons. I’m amazed its continued on this long, but it’s fun nonetheless.
Celebzter: You’ve accurately predicted pretty much all the outcomes for The Bachelor  and The Bachelorette series since we can remember, how did this transpire?Â
Reality Steve: Well, I’ve only been spoiling for the last 3 years. My first spoiled season was Jason Mesnick’s, and ever since then, the information just seems to come my way more often than not. Even after I spoiled Jason’s season, I just figured it’d be a one time thing, I got lucky, and never thought that it would turn into what it has. I’m pretty amazed by it. Once I was accurate on the Jason ending and websites and tabloids were quoting my site more often, the public became more aware of who I was. Then it was on to Jake’s season where I spoiled the ending again the day after the show premiered, even though no one in America thought for a second Vienna had won. So I wasn’t vindicated until the finale aired, but I knew there was nothing to worry about.
Celebzter: Have you ever been wrong, really wrong? If so, when?
Reality Steve: Yes, Ali’s season and Brad’s season I was wrong for a period of time, but was corrected by the time the finale rolled around. For Ali’s season, I knew the final two were Chris and Roberto, then a couple of weeks later I knew it wasn’t Chris, so I said it was Roberto or she picked no one. I then said she picked no one, but didn’t find out until the morning of the finale she had picked Roberto, so I put it up on my site about 8 hours before the episode aired.
As for Brad, that one still bothers me to this day. I released every episode by episode detail, including who I thought was the winner (Chantal), 3 weeks before the first episode aired. Everything was right all season, except for the ending. Brad’s finale aired March 14th, and on Feb. 28th, I apologized and said I was wrong about Chantal, that he was with Emily, then gave details surrounding the finale on that day, so, it gave people two weeks to readjust from thinking it was Chantal to Emily.
Celebzter: On what occasions do you think the Bachelor or the Bachelorette have made a terribly bad decision?
Reality Steve: Honestly, I don’t really care. It’s not my life, it’s theirs. Who they choose in the end doesn’t affect me in any way, shape, or form. The show’s concept is utterly ridiculous, and my job is to point that out and make fun of it on a weekly basis.
Celebzter: Which of the couples that have come through the ranks have the most chance of actually lasting?
Reality Steve: Well, Jason and Molly are married and Ashley and JP are well on their way. Ben and Courtney are the only other couple still together from seasons completed, but if you’re asking me if I think they’ll last, my answer would be no.
Celebzter: Are you allowed to talk about the lawsuit that is now settled?
Reality Steve: Yeah, for the most part I can. Nothing in the agreement I signed says I can’t talk about it, but to get into every single detail about it and break down the agreement page for page is not something I ever plan on doing. It’s in the past, I’m moving on.
Celebzter: And to Emily, do you think she makes the right choice?
Reality Steve:Â If I knew who she did choose I’d be able to give you a better opinion, but I don’t.
Celebzter: Will the public be happy with her choice? And does she stand a shot at long-lasting love?
Reality Steve: I have no idea who she chooses, but just like the previous 23 seasons before her, whoever Emily chooses, some people will like it and some people won’t. That’s just the way people are. Based on the final three guys, I will say this:  I can’t ever see her being married to Arie or Jef. Sean seems like the one who’s more ready and marriage material, but I have no idea if Emily thinks the same.
Celebzter: Roberto is expected to be the next Bachelor, what are your thoughts on that?
Reality Steve: Roberto, just like all other leads, has his fan base and I can see why they’d want him. I’ve got no problems with him being the Bachelor. It’s just a bit odd that he’s never said a word publicly about his breakup with Ali, and always seemed to stay out of the spotlight, and to see him jumping back into the tornado that is the “Bachelor,” I find it rather curious. Doesn’t make much sense, but, to each their own.
Celebzter: Who would you like to be cast as the next Bachelor and Bachelorette?
Reality Steve:Â Honestly I don’t care. As long as they keep pumping out seasons, I’m happy.
Celebzter: What do you think about the franchise, has it run its course?
Reality Steve: Well, if you asked anyone in 2002 if they thought the show would still be on in 2012 and be in its 24th season, people would’ve told you that you were nuts. So I’m guessing they’ll keep going as long as they can until they get bored, or ABC finally has had enough.
Celebzter: And, lastly, what is in the works for Reality Steve?Â
Reality Steve:  Just continuing to do what I do, but I’d like to expand into interviewing more people from the reality TV world, and not necessarily from the “Bachelor” family. I get why a lot of them can’t talk to me on record. I’m fine with that. Plenty do off record, and that’s all that matters to me.

It’s the show loved by some, loathed by others, and there have been more failed romances than successful ones.
Now Chris Harrison, who hosts The Bachelor, has seen is own personal relationship go down in flames like so many of the contestants on the reality show before him.
He and his wife of 18 years, Gwen, have announced their separation “after much heartfelt consideration,” the couple tells PEOPLE exclusively.
“Though we have made this incredibly difficult decision to separate, our love and mutual respect remain, and we look forward to sharing in the lives of our wonderful children,” they say in a joint statement Thursday.
The couple lives 35 miles from Hollywood with their kids Joshua, 9, and Taylor, 7. Harrison, 40, coaches both kids’ soccer teams, and is “an amazing father,” Gwen told PEOPLE in 2010. “He’s very loving and involved.”
