‘Toddlers and Tiaras’ Maddy Verst’s Outfit Sparks Nasty Custody Battle

The mother of “Toddlers & Tiaras” star Maddy Verst, who dressed her up as Dolly Parton, complete with a padded bra and sculpting underwear, faces losing custody of her daughter.

The father of the child, Bill Verst, claims that his young daughter is being sexually exploited by her mother for allowing her to dress so provocatively and he has asked a Kentucky court to grant him sole custody of his daughter, who is now 6.

During a court proceeding Saturday, a judge threw reporters out of the courtroom, closed the hearing and placed a gag order on mother Lindsay Jackson. The judge also imposed a ban on any pageant activity for Maddy or her mother for the duration of the trial.

A court-appointed psychologist has sided with Maddy’s father, condemning the Parton costume and recommending that a judge make Verst the girl’s sole custodial parent.

Jackson dressed her daughter herself in the Dolly Parton costume, telling the TLC show’s cameras, “When she wears the fake boobs and the fake butt, it’s just like an added extra bonus and it’s really funny when she comes out on stage and everybody thinks it’s hysterical.”

Is this another case of a mother going too far in her pursuit to elevate her daughter to fame?

Bitter Battle: Usher’s ex threatens to reveal his celebrity conquests

Today’s big guessing game: Who are Usher’s celebrity conquests? Inquiring minds want to know.

And, perhaps we will, if his ex-wife Tameka Foster has her way,

According to Life & Style magazine, his scorned former wife wants to reveal all and it could make for some juicy gossip, that’s for sure.

They report…

Usher’s custody battle with his ex-wife Tameka Foster is heating up. And now, In Touch has learned the mother of Usher’s two young sons, Usher V, 4, and Naviyd, 3, is threatening to air all of the former couple’s dirty laundry.

In an Atlanta courtroom on May 21, fighting for rights to see his two boys, the 33-year-old singer was visibly shaken when talking about Usher V and Naviyd.

“They give me purpose,” Usher tearfully explained. “I used to be begged to come home. Now I’m begging to come home to be able to spend some time with them.”

But Usher’s tearful pleas are falling on deaf ears. An insider tells In Touch that 44-year-old Tameka is now threatening to name several big stars she insists her ex husband slept with during their tumultuous two-year marriage, which ended in 2009.

But Tameka might want to think twice about her spiteful tactics against Usher, who is now happily dating Def Jam record executive Grace Miguel, 44.

“Though she’s trying to paint Usher as a wild party boy with a huge sexual appetite, it’s backfiring and making her look bad,” says the insider. “Everyone’s testifying that she’s the one displaying erratic behavior.”

Halle and Gabriel’s custody battle is about to get even nastier

It just keeps deteriorating between Halle Berry and her ex Gabriel Aubry, as they battle it out over their daughter Nahla.

And if it was ugly before, it’s about to get even uglier with Halle hiring a bulldog lawyer, according to TMZ.

They write…..

Halle Berry has dumped another man … but this one has been with her way longer than all the others — her longtime lawyer/confidante, Neal Hersh … TMZ has learned.

Here’s the lowdown.  Our sources tell us Halle wants to go after her baby daddy Gabriel Aubry with nuclear weapons — metaphorically speaking — and she thinks Hersh is too much of a gentleman to wage that kind of legal war, even though he has guided Halle through 2 divorces, a custody war and various other legal skirmishes.

So we’ve learned Halle has hired Stephen Kolodny (above), who is legendary in L.A. legal circles for the level of legal warfare she so wants.  You may recall Kolodny repped Mel Gibson in his epic battle with Oksana Grigorieva – and that got kinda nasty.

Kolodny has already gone to court with Halle. We’ve learned last Thursday the new duo went to dependency court to have more restrictions placed on Aubry.  The dependency judge has already ordered that Gabriel can only have contact with Nahla in the presence of a monitor. On Thursday, we’re told the judge voiced additional concerns and ordered Gabriel to return the child to Halle earlier than the 6 PM deadline on days he has custody.

Kolodny will have his hands full trying to convince the family law judge that Halle should be able to move to France with the child because she’s concerned about paparazzi and safety.

One thing’s for sure … it’s gonna get nasty.

Hersh and Kolodny could not be reached for comment.

We shutter at the thought of when Nahla grows up and realizes she was part of such a vicious tug-of-war.

Does Gabriel deserve to lose Nahla? The custody battle gets even more vicious

Halle Berry wants to move to France amid stalker fears and take Nahla with her (it also happens to be where her current lover Olivier Martinez hails from).

Now, Gabriel Aubry has been orderd to appear in Dependency Court because authorities are concerned about his ability to safely care for his child … TMZ is reporting.

They write….

Aubry is in court right now and the appearance was triggered by the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services’ investigation into allegations that Aubry is guilty of child endangerment. 

Sources tell TMZ … the DCFS investigation goes beyond an incident in which Gabriel allegedly pushed the nanny who was holding 3-year-old Nahla. 

We’re told DCFS is concerned about Nahla’s safety in the care of Gabriel and that is why he was ordered to appear in Dependency Court. 

We’re told no ruling has been handed down … yet.

We really, really feel sorry for Nahla, who we feel, due to the resentment her parents have for each other, continues to be in the midst of a tug-of-war.

New photos of Gabriel and Nahla are sure to melt even the most hardened of hearts

Gabriel Aubry was pictured yesterday playing with his daughter Nahla at a park in Los Angeles, and there was something about these shots that stirred up emotions in us.

We feel sorry for Nahla, who at just three, doesn’t know the bitter battle her parents are locked in over her custody.

And, it appears, Gabriel does truly love her…what we are seeing publicly happens every day, everywhere, when parents split.

Perhaps, that is why it is so sad.

Gabriel is showing the stresses and strains of his custody battle with Halle

His battle with Halle over the custody of their daughter Nahla is not only ongoing, but increasingly bitter.

And, the immense amount of pressure that he has been under, appears to be taking a toll on Gabriel Aubry.

Just as it was reported that the Los Angeles Department of Children & Family Services is recommending both Halle and Gabriel take parenting classes, Gabriel was pictured looked somewhat downcast as he shielded his three-year daughter whilst taking her to school in Los Angeles.

There is something about this picture that makes us so sad.
