It was a sea of beautiful faces as the stars came out for the Arthur Newman premiere and after party on Thursday night.
Colin Firth, Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Anne Heche and James Tupper and Kate Flannery were among the celebs who were on hand for the event in Los Angeles.
The stars filled Wood & Vine – a rustic farm to table restaurant located in the heart of Hollywood following the screening , where they sipped Purity Vodka cocktails including The Swedish Sun and The Purity Magnolia and tapas were served.
Kate Flannery attended the event and gathered at Emily Blunt’s table to congratulate her and chat with fellow “Office” cast member John Krasinski.
Emily Blunt playfully pushed Colin Firth down on the couches when he went to get up to shake the director’s hand. The movie cast celebrated the birthday of one of the writers.
Matt Damon, Marion Cotillard, Amy Adams, Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Jack Black and Ethan Hawke were just some of the stars on hand to celebrate the euphoria Calvin Klein presents the IFP Gotham Independent Film Awards event held in New York City at Cipriani on Monday night.

Actor Matt Damon was the star of the show. Dressed casually, the film icon was there to accept the male “Tribute” award, which acknowledges a lifetime career of groundbreaking achievements in the entertainment industry. During his speech, the humble actor was quoted saying, “I was at this same event 15 years ago. What’s funny, is that Calvin Klein offered me a free suit at that time. It was then that my life became surreal, when I realized that everything in my closet still wouldn’t add up to the cost of that suit”. As always, he thanked his stunning wife, Luciana Barroso, along with his three children. During the award ceremony, Luciana was busy “playing Mom for the table” as described by onlookers. “She was busy pouring champagne for everyone, making sure everyone had what they needed”. Guess Matt is a lucky man? Matt’s moving speech concluded by saying “I have never taken this industry for granted and I never will… I’m truly blessed.”
Married couple Emily Blunt and John Krasinski clearly know the secret to a successful Hollywood marriage. The gorgeous twosome arrived looking relaxed and healthy as they strolled in hand-in-hand. Emily turned heads in an ankle length white Calvin Klein dress, which reminded onlookers of the gown she donned during her 2010 nuptials to John. A bystander was overheard saying, “John seemed to be smitten with the way she looked. He couldn’t stop smiling and laughing around her. White seems to really bring out a side of Emily that he adores”. Another person John seemed to adore was Matt Damon, as he presented him with the male “Tribute” award. Praising Matt as one of his most beloved icons, the funny-man actor went on to say that “he is so infatuated with him, his children would be frightened if they knew how much.” Emily scored an IFP Gotham Independent Film Award before the glowing duo headed out to celebrate.
French actress Marion Cotillard looked flawless and turned heads as always. The talented beauty was there to receive the female “Tribute” award, which she seemed beyond grateful for. Her acceptance speech enlightened audience members, as she credited independent film makers as “great storytellers” and as individuals who “have the courage to hold a mirror up to life and create a story based on what they see.” Later, Marion was overjoyed discussing family life and her baby. “He’s 18 months old now!” She kept checking her phone to make sure everything was alright at home. The starlet seemed in high-spirits and as a bystander put it “had the best energy out of all the talent there.” The actress stayed until the very end, and even took photos with star-struck fans outside afterwards.

Are you there sunglasses? It’s me Laura Prepon. Laura pulled a classic move on Friday, loading in the car in a hurry she forgot her shades on the roof and accidentally drove off. After a few minutes of search & rescue she gave up and swung by Solstice Sunglass Boutique at The Bertolli Meal Soup Chalet hosted by GenArt for a new pair. Dressed in a furry black and gray animal hat with ears – given to her by her “hippie sister” – she slipped on Tommy Hilfiger shades to match her ski bunny outfit. The actress joked about needing big shades for her big head. Before leaving she got her caffeine kick before heading back out into the snow, fully prepared to take on the storm.
Snowboard vs. Skies? That was the big discussion between Black Rock co-stars Kate Bosworth, Lake Bell and Katie Aselton, all in town for their film premiere. The trio agreed that skiing is preferred among the ladies, but après-ski by a warm fire is the real winner. Kate admitted that she hadn’t even tried snowboarding… Returning to Sundance, she told a friend how much she loved working on the thriller – about three childhood friends that go to an island as adults – especially with Lake and Katie. As the true fashionista in the group, Kate gave pointers to her friends, pointing out a pair Marc Jacobs at the Solstice Sunglass Boutique lounge that she liked and suggested them to Lake, who ended up with a pair of YSL shades.
Christina Hendricks was at Sundance to support her hubby Geoffrey Arend in his first lead role, starring in Save The Date. The love couple bundled up together to watch the Giants vs. San Francisco game on Sunday, while onsite the two stocked up on shades at Solstice Sunglass Boutique. Both picked up sunglasses from the same brand, Christina rocking a pair of YSL 6367 and Geoffrey in YSL 2334.
Justin Long is probably used to being surrounded by the young ladies, but grandmas? As Justin made his way over to Solstice Sunglass Boutique on Sunday, he forgot his shopping bags on a nearby coach, which he purposely had left behind, and was surprised to see an 80-year -old woman tapping his shoulder with the bags in her hand. The older lady seemed to have a crush on the actor as she sat down next to him when he was trying on sunglasses from Boss Black and gave her opinion on every pair he tried on. He finally escaped her site and slipped out of The Bertolli Meal Soup Chalet hosted by GenArt.
Emily Blunt popped by Solstice Sunglass Boutique at CW3PR’s RE: treat lounge proclaiming how she’s always in sunglasses and loves a good aviator. In Park City to promote her new film Your Sister’s Sister, the actress picked up a few pairs of sunglasses from Bottega Veneta and YSL to bring back to LA. She couldn’t wait to show her hubby John Krasinski the shades and quickly ran out to meet him for a bite to eat.
Andie McDowell had no movie at Sundance this year, but that didn’t stop her from attending the festival for charity. She reminisced about her start in the industry, talking about one of her first movies Sex, Lies, and Videotape with a friend. Andie slipped on a pair of Marc Jacobs shades at Solstice Sunglass Boutique before heading out into the cold.
Tyler Hilton picked out shades for his longtime girlfriend Megan Park at Solstice Sunglass Boutique and vice versa. He kept asking for her opinion and finally decided on a pair of Boss Black.
