She shot to stardom thanks largely to her drunken escapades. But now, Snooki’s wild antics are a thing of the past as she prepares to welcome her first child in September.
And as much as she had hoped to have a girl, or as she put it, a “mini-me”, the 24-year-old is expecting a boy.
She has revealed the BIG news to In Touch magazine, where she posed up for this exclusive photo (below) and sat down for an exclusive interview, where she also confessed among other things to losing her “sex drive”.

It’s a boy for Snooki! Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi exclusively reveals in the new issue of In Touch, on newsstands now, that she and fiancé Jionni LaValle are welcoming a baby boy in September.
“Everyone said I was going to have a boy, and they were right!” the Jersey Shore star reveals exclusively to In Touch.
Snooki tells In Touch that she and Jionni are deciding between two names – Lorenzo or Jionni Jr. And while she’s thrilled to welcome a son, the 24-year-old admits she was hoping for a mini-me. “I thought it was going to be a girl. I was hoping it would be, because all girls want girls,” Snooki says, at first disappointed, but added, “It’s still my baby, no matter what. I’m excited either way!”
Proudly showing off her baby bump at her In Touch photo shoot, the mom-to-be says she’s traded in her beloved pickles and now craves icy, cold treats. “I love anything cold and juicy, like Italian ices.” But even more surprising? While some women find their sex drive enhanced during pregnancy, you won’t find Snooki and Jionni anywhere near the smush room! “Our sex life is hardly there! I just feel too icky and gross,” Snooki tells In Touch. “I’m so not in the mood to do stuff.”
Still, the once Jersey Shore wild child is happy to put her crazy days behind her and focus on her new life ahead as a mom. “I’m not going to party hard anymore, even after the baby is born,” Snooki reveals. “Being a mom changes you.”
