The most important and exciting game of the year. Most men have been dreading the conclusion of the season while women will be celebrating.
Finally all the blood, sweat and tears boil down to one game featuring the New England Patriots and the New York Giants.
I absolutely love the Super Bowl, as long as it involves a good party. The Super Bowl is really only about 4 things, the best food, the best commercial, the half-time show and the winner of the game.
This year Madonna is performing at half-time so either you will love it or you’re just crazy! Let’s take a look at the other 3 important factors for this year’s Super Bowl.
Best Food
Winner: Chicken wings!!!! Hands down, lemon and pepper are my favorite but you can’t go wrong with any flavor wing.
Runner Up: Street Tacos
There are few things better than a greasy El Pastor taco.
Best Commercial
If you haven’t seen this year’s Commercials you don’t have to wait for the game you can check almost all of them out here.
It was just too difficult to pick just one favorite so I have a three-way tie. So in no particular order my favorites are: Chevy’s, best gift ever! It’s just hilarious. Honda’s, Ferris’s day off mainly for sentimental reasons I love Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Last but not least is David Beckem’s ad for H&M. David Beckem in his skivvies, nuff said.
And the winner is?
Drum roll please. . . . I predict the New England Patriots will win the game 31-24. I’m going with the Patriots despite the odds makers. Why? Tom Brady is a modern day Adonis (google it) Go Pats!!!!!
Yes, Superbowl is upon us, and will be bringing you some delicious recipes, drinks and gossip throughout the day….and on the day itself.
And, if you are a fan of 50 Cent, you may get to see him in his birthday suit, depending upon the outcome of the game.
Here’s this report….
He’s a betting man, 50 Cent - by now you’ve probably heard that the 36-year-old rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, reportedly won a $500,000 bet on the New York Giants in the NFC Championship game, but he’s wagering even more on the Giants’ ability to take down the New England Patriots on Feb. 5.
Fiddy recently accepted a bet from Twitter follower@MyBestAssets that will cost him more than cash if the Giants lose – he agreed to pose nude and post the pic to Twitter if the Giants lose on Sunday!
But this is the rapper’s prediction: “GIANTS coming with that NEW YORK attitude. patriots leaving on a stretcher,” he tweeted. “We ain’t bullsh-ting lol”
And, for the second consecutive year, Suzuki is throwing its ad/marketing hat into the ring during the Super Bowl with the brand’s “Sled” television spot featuring music (“Movin on Up”) by award-winning rapper 50 Cent. That’s right, yet another Super Bowl connection to 50 Cent.
Whilst everyone else is obsessed with football, we’re obsessed with looking inside people’s houses….
